Start Here Mini Workshop with Lisa Truesdell - Giveaway!

I am SO excited to tell you about a new mini workshop at 2peas with Lisa Truesdell. I’m sure you’ve seen Lisa’s amazing work and I was honored to be asked to be a part of her class. The content looks amazing! Here’s some info on the class:

Start Here mini workshop with Lisa Truesdell

“Inspiration exists, but it has to find you working.” - Pablo Picasso

Get a jump on inspiration with Start Here. In this workshop, Lisa Truesdell will give you the tools to turn almost any image into a jumping off point for your next layout. You’ll learn to break down images into smaller elements and use them to inspire your page’s color combo, design, or even new techniques. We’ll talk about finding images you love and identifying what grabbed you about them, and how to put that inspiration to work! Lisa is joined by twelve talented contributors who will each be sharing a page based on one of Lisa’s inspiration pieces, as well as their thoughts on finding starting points in unexpected places.

Included in the workshop are 27 brand-new scrapbook pages (15 from Lisa and 12 from her contributors) showcasing a variety of interpretations of inspiration pieces, 3 printable PDFs and 3 brand new videos following Lisa as she makes a layout starting with an inspiration piece.

Lisa’s talented contributors include Allison Waken (me!), Ashley Calder, Becky Novacek, Doris Sander, Erica Hernandez, Emily Spahn, Kelly Noel, Kristina Nicolai-White, Laura Kurz, Lexi Bridges, Lisa Dickinson, and Marcy Penner

The content of this workshop will be available immediately upon purchase. The lessons are available for you to work at your own pace and upon purchase can be accessed in the “Workshops” section under “Classes & Events.” A private message board forum is also available to ask questions for Lisa and to connect with other participants.

Cost: $12.00

Project Life: Week 37

I HAVE still been doing Project Life here and there. I did skip a bunch and that’s ok. It happens. I have a few weeks that I’ve only printed out photos for. It’s ok, it happens. Maybe I’ll get to them, maybe I won’t either wayI love this project :)

I participated in Lisa’s 2012: Captured class for 2peas this week and made up this week focusing on die cuts. They make life so much easier ;) You can see my thoughts on this week in my 2peas gallery here

CHA! (and veneers)

One year I will go - maybe in the winter? My Mom DID move to Anaheim for a reason right?! 2peas has some fun going on chats, challenges, videos, opportunities to win prizes and much more.

And while you’re there pick up some of my FAV Studio Calico veneers that just came back in stock - but hurry they’ll be gone fast. (I may buy all the hearts and arrows)

and I have something really cool planned for those wood states. Can’t wait to share when it’s done!

For some reason I haven’t posted any of my digital layouts for quite a while! (click on images for credits)

I think I’m all caught up now :) That last layout with the confetti behind the cutout makes me really want to play with real confetti (well that and all of Lisa’s amazing confetti inspiration)

I have more coming next week but here’s a few I haven’t posted yet.

I think we’re finally getting into a routine for the school year. I’ve been slacking on taking photos lately because we’ve been so busy! Besides the normal stuff we’ve been doing fun activites for All for the Boys, and gearing up for their extra curriculars starting next week!

I had made this for something but never used it LOL! I just printed it out and am going to hang it in the boys’ bathroom.

(I’ll double check the fonts I used and if they are all ok I’ll make this available for download without the papers clipped in!)
